Most couples we talk to in Oklahoma City have heard a number from a friend ($800!) or read a number on a national wedding site ($2,400!) and have no idea which one applies to them. So here's the honest version, with real OKC numbers.
The short answer
Most of our 2026 OKC weddings land between $2,500 and $8,000 in florals. The middle is around $4,500. That covers a bridal bouquet, a few bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony pieces, and reception centerpieces — the standard list.
The thing nobody tells you: the flowers themselves are usually 50–60% of the cost. The rest is design time, conditioning, transportation, on-site setup, and breakdown. A florist who quotes you $3,000 is not pocketing $3,000 in roses.
What drives the price
Three things, in order:
1. Guest count. More guests means more centerpieces. A 200-guest wedding with 25 tables needs ~25 centerpieces. At $80–$150 each, that's $2,000–$3,750 just for the reception. 2. Ceremony installations. Arches, chuppahs, aisle arrangements, hanging florals — these are labor-intensive and use a lot of stems. A simple arch is $400–$800. A full floral arch is $1,500–$3,500. 3. Flower choice. Peonies in May are reasonable. Peonies in November are expensive and shipped from Holland. We'll always tell you what's in season locally.
A real example
A recent Edmond wedding, 130 guests:
- Bridal bouquet: $250
- 5 bridesmaid bouquets: $475
- 7 boutonnieres + 4 corsages: $220
- Ceremony arch florals (partial): $650
- 16 round-table centerpieces: $1,920
- 2 head-table arrangements: $360
- Setup, breakdown, delivery: $625
Total: $4,500. That's a typical Oklahoma City wedding budget for full-service florals.
